V/A "Candy Poison Volume 1" CD
The precursor to our favorite Japanese rock compilation. This one is really good too though. 12 tracks of underground R'n'R featuring Burl, Speedway Baby, Ash on the Street, Prambath, Prince Albert, Peach, Gito Gito Hustler, The Flash Express, and more.

V/A "Candy Poison Volume 2" CD
Tokyo no Radio's favorite compilation. Every track on this CD is incredible: from the mariachi madness of Prince Albert to the insanely catchy punk anthem of Rebelster. Also includes songs from Gito Gito Hustler, Peelander-Z, The Spunks, Cho-Shinjuku, and six others. Highest possible recommendation.

V/A
"I Hope The End Is Always The Beginning" CD

Imagine a record label made up completely of bands that sound like Jawbreaker and Leatherface. Make them all Japanese and you get Tokyo label Snuffy Smile. This 28 track CD features 14 bands that generally play melodic, high energy punk rock. The impact of other gaijin acts such as Discount and Screeching Weasel is also evident. A great comp at a great price.

V/A "Japanese Assault" CD
Four bands contribute a total of 37 tracks of ear-bleeding insanity. Senseless Apocalypse, Muga, Realized, and Swarrrm bring the intense thrash/rock that the Japanese hardcore underground is known for. Recommended for patch-sewing, basement show-dwelling nonconformists.

A document of some of today's greatest Japanese hardcore punk thrashers. Featuring unreleased songs from 19 bands including Unholy Grave, Kung-Fu Grip Man, Mass Genocide, and Hellpop. Sensitive ears need not apply. Unless they want to bleed.

V/A "Japan Thrash Revolution" CD
The loudest, most chaotic CD we could possibly offer you. Featuring a whopping 41 tracks clocking in at an average length of 60 seconds a piece, "Japan Thrash Revolution" is a brilliant representation of the new breed of Japanese grind/thrash/hardcore punk. Bands include Circle X, Slam Chop, Mind Of Asian, Low Vision, and Lift Up Your Hands with the fiv part epic "5 Bloody Songs". Enjoy at your own risk.
